These include chia seeds, flax seeds, walnuts and grass-fed butter. Other sources of healthy fat include coconut oil and avocado.

So, the next time you are making a smoothie, feel free to add some chia and flax seeds. Your body will thank you later.

Broccoli and Dark green Vegetables.

Remember how your parents forced you to eat your broccoli during dinner? Turns out they were only looking out for you. Broccoli, as well as other dark greens, are responsible for your estrogen levels.

Berries and oats.

Berries, (this includes all kinds of edible berries) are packed with antioxidants great for combating free radicals that cause pre-mature skin aging. They are also great for balancing your hormones so you want to load up your body with them. They may be a bit expensive but they are totally worth it.

Oats, on the other hand, contain silicon, a mineral responsible for firming and strengthening your body tissues. Introduce gluten-free oats to your diet and in no time you will experience gorgeous skin. Just be sure it contains little or no gluten as it is not good for hormonal balancing.

Liver.

I know you are cringing right now at the thought of eating liver. The good news (or bad news if you hate it) is that liver is packed with so many vitamins and minerals that would be a shame to miss out on. For instance, liver is one of the few food sources that offer iron, magnesium, calcium and zinc at once. Add vitamins A and D to the list and you have yourself a remedy for your hormonal acne.

I think it’s time to get over your hatred for liver and start introducing it into your diet. Having it at least once a week will get you healthy looking skin and body sooner than later.

Eggs.

Eggs have had a bad reputation for increasing your weight due to their high cholesterol level. In all honesty, yes, eggs can increase your cholesterol. But only when eaten in excess.
